You're invited to partner with the Michigan Library Association at Michigan Library Advocacy Day on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 in Lansing. Sponsorship and partnership opportunities are now available!

Library Supporter or Association Partnership - $250

Multiple Opportunities Available

Show your support for Michigan libraries and library workers as a Michigan Library Advocacy Day Partner! This is a great opportunity to gain recognition for your organization and show your support for the library community in Michigan. We would like to invite any organization, as well as those listed below, to partner with us: Michigan Collaborative for Library Services (MCLS); Michigan Association of School Librarians (MASL); Michigan Association of Academic Librarians (MIALA); Library of Michigan Foundation; Michigan Cooperative Directors Association or any of the 11 regional cooperatives independently; Friends of Michigan Libraries (FOML); other statewide or national library associations, schools or consortia, and any supporters of Michigan libraries.

Lanyards and Badges Sponsorship - $1750

This high-profile opportunity provides unlimited brand exposure during Michigan Library Advocacy Day. A lanyard is provided to all attendees at registration and will have the logo of the sponsor printed on it. In addition, the sponsor's logo will be printed on all attendee name badges.

This high-profile opportunity provides immediate brand exposure during Michigan Library Advocacy Day. A folder/packet is provided to all legislators and to all attendees at registration and will have the logo of the sponsor printed on it.

Coffee and Opening Session Sponsorship - $1,000

The day begins with coffee and conversation at 9:00 AM, with a formal welcome at 9:30 AM in Heritage Hall at the State of Michigan Capitol in Lansing (323 W Ottawa Street) by the State Librarian and MLA President. We have also invited Governor Gretchen Whitmer to be our speaker at the opening session.  An overview of MLA priorities and how the legislative visits are structured will be reviewed by an expert panel.

Legislative visits begin at 10:30 AM and, for those that have meetings scheduled for other times of the day, MLA has lined up incredible speakers who will inspire and educate advocates throughout the morning in short segments. Advocates can drop in and out of the sessions as they will be recorded and posted at a later time.

Libations with Librarians Sponsorship - $2000

For librarians and legislators: Wind down after a day of advocating for libraries at a late afternoon, informal reception at GCSI headquarters (120 N Washington Square).

Benefits include:

Legislative staff and Advocacy Day participants will be given a meal ticket that will give them access to pick up a box lunch at any of the bookmobiles parked on Capitol Avenue in front of the Capitol.
