About Spring Institute

Every March the Michigan Library Association hosts the Spring Institute for Youth Services, Michigan’s premier annual education event for youth library professionals. Children and teen services library professionals from across the state gather together to share, discover and experience best practices at formal sessions. vendor exhibits, and networking activities in a fun and collaborative learning environment. Spring Institute for Youth Services is an annual two-day conference that brings together nearly 200 library professionals, as well vendors, performers, and authors for two days of education, exhibits, networking, special events, and interactive activities.

MLA will host a prize drawing in the afternoon on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Exhibitors are encouraged to donate a prize of any value to further showcase their goods or services beyond the conference.

Cancellation Policy

Exhibitor booth and sponsorship cancellations must be received in writing by email no later than March 1, 2021, in order to qualify for a refund. After that date cancellations will not be refunded and amounts outstanding are owed. A $100.00 processing fee will be applied to all cancellations. Sponsorships and advertisements must be canceled in writing no less than ten (10) days prior to the event to qualify for a refund.

Consent

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, MLA meetings or other activities constitutes an agreement by the registration to the use and distribution of the registrants or attendees' image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions of such events and activities by MLA.
