Please indicate any accommodations you may need on your registration form or contact us at [email protected] prior to the event. You don’t need to be a member of MLA to participate! However, you must register through the MLA website and create an MLA account. If you do not have login credentials for the MLA website, you may create a new account when you register. Please contact us if you're unsure of your account status. Registrations received before 5:00 PM on Friday, March 28 will include a legislative visit scheduled by MLA staff. Advance registration is necessary so that we can make sure there is ample opportunity to get an appointment on the calendar. We will make every effort to arrange a visit with each of your legislators, but meetings based on the schedule of the legislator and cannot be guaranteed. RegisterLocation and ParkingHeritage Hall Legislative visits will take place at legislator offices located in the Capitol building, the Anderson House Office Building (Representative Offices) and the Binsfeld Office Building (Senate Offices). Registration and the morning session will take place at Heritage Hall. Heritage Hall is reserved all day so advocates can network, regroup, eat lunch or just relax between visits and events. Special Events take place throughout the Capitol and grounds. Bookmobiles will be parked on Capital Ave in front of the Capitol Building. Parking is paid by the attendee. If an MLA professional development workshop, conference, webinar, or other training session is cancelled due to low registration or inclement weather, participants will be notified and fees, if applicable, will be refunded.
