Spring Institute 2023: Sustaining Our Future
March 30 – 31, 2023 Ann Arbor, Michigan
Message from the Workgroup Chair
I’m Jocelyn Levin, MLA 2023 Spring Institute Chair and Youth Services Librarian at Lyon Township Public Library. Our Spring Institute for Youth Services Workgroup is so excited to welcome all 280+ of you to Ann Arbor for a chance to consider how we are each Sustaining Our Future, which is the theme of our event.
We all enter our respective libraries each week with the aim to help children, teens, and families find resources that will help them be successful and fulfilled. Our work group is proud that this year’s Spring Institute will highlight many of the ways library staff across Michigan are working to protect books, communities, and relationships in our current politically charged climate.
Please join the conversation with me online using the hashtag #MLASI23 and share insights and photos so that our colleagues both here in Ann Arbor and across the state can grow and learn together!
