Then this workshop is for you. Explore the topics of leadership versus management, empowering your staff to seek professional development and identifying leadership competencies.

This session from respected leadership consultant Allison McClintick of FlightLead will explore the mindsets, roles and tasks that are required of leaders and managers and how to best work within each role for increased efficiency. Regardless of which role you associate with more – leader or manager - Allison will help you identify an effective and authentic strategy for creating empowerment that provides the right perspective, tools and skills necessary to reach your goals.

Empowering Staff to Seek Professional Development
Professional development of staff provides value to any organization; it fosters growth for the individual as well as for the institution. However, what happens when you have staff members who are unable to see the value of or know where to find professional development opportunities? This panel will discuss the importance of professional development for staff and how to motivate and empower staff to want to broaden their own professional knowledge.
