MLA Connect Coffee Hour: Emotional Health During COVID-19

This is a time of uncertainty and we need to be intentional about how we care for ourselves and our community. In this conversation, we will discuss ways to adapt our expectations, increase self-compassion, focus on mindful awareness and support each other.

Join MLA and Casey J. Coker for a conversation about what self-care and community support look like and mean to you.

Casey J. Coker graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. From there, she attended Western Michigan University where she received a Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology. Casey continued her graduate education and clinical training at Purdue University and completed a Master of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies.

Each week we provide a platform for you to ask questions, share ideas, and provide input to other library professionals struggling with the global health crisis, remote work, and how to prepare for the future.

This coffee hour is free to attend to anyone interested in joining the conversation! A maximum of 500 attendees can join the live event. Registered attendees will receive information and a link to access the meeting on the Zoom platform. A recording of the session will be available on the MLA website for those unable to attend the live event.
